We are pleased that our schoolgirls have received their new cloth pads. Girls in Uganda often cannot afford sanitary pads, are embarrassed during menstruation and often miss school as a result. As a stopgap measure, some girls even use chicken feathers! This campaign helps our girls a lot so that they can go to school easily, fearlessly and safely even during their menstruation: We would like to thank Ms. Bettina Steinbrugger and the team from erdbeerwoche GmbH, who donated the cloth pads to us, for this wonderful project.
