In Uganda there are many challenges that we no longer have in the developed countries to the extent that they exist there, or have already been able to overcome successfully. Theft and even some vandalism still occur quite often in Uganda, due to the high level of poverty and shortages everywhere. Our school has developed well over the last 2 years and standards have improved greatly. To protect school property, we built a school fence.
But not only that, the most important thing is of course the safety of our children. Without a fence, strangers could easily get into the school grounds and overview and control was significantly more difficult. A school fence offers children a safer environment and thus the quality of school transport is significantly improved.
